Under the first column on the left hand side you need to write what you want your students to accomplish for each learning event in the lesson. Take a look at your 2nd learning event. What do you want your students to be able to do as a result of reflecting on the ideas presented? Hope this helps. That is how I interpreted it.
Yes. These are to pull you back to your original goals to show alignment with what you put in Stage 1. It's a check to make sure that your learning activities line up with your original goals and objectives. This is a marvelous process, but I know it can be confusing, but I keep going back to the question, "Do my learning activities result in the learning that I am looking for, and will my students be successful in Stage 2 assessments if I teach it this way?
